Photo by Klara Bell, on our trip to Springfield park.

As part of this year's E17 art trail scribble & smudge will be making two entries.
see The big little Art trail guide for children on http://www.e17arttrail.co.uk.
entry numbers: 122 for screen 17 and 111 for Church Hill nursery

Creating a workshop at a screening of 'Howl's Moving Castle'
September 3rd, at the Orford House Social Club, 73 Orford Rd, E17 9QR.
Craft will start from doors opening at 10 a.m til 10.30 a.m. We will be making Howls last transformation as a bird.

Howls Moving Castle is an acclaimed Japanese animation by Hayao Miyazaki . A stunning fantasy adventure that has wowed children and critics alike. I recommend for children over 6 years.
See http://www.screen17.co.uk/ for more details about our Junior film festival and how to make your entry.

'Our Environment' is Our 3D artwork inspired by a trip to Springfield Park, where we
collected natural and man made objects.
These will be displayed in an interactive set of drawers displaying photos and objects of our journey.
The artwork is a reflection of the children’s view of their local environment; identifying their favourite aspects.
This ties in with the work that Church Hill Nursery are doing on sustainability – how we can look after our environment and ensure that it can be enjoyed by all.
I will update photos or our workshop in a separate blog in the near future.
